As much as it confuses me I do know that there are some people out there who don’t support Manchester United, so I will put up the results of the other matches as well and occasionally go in depth about them depending on the match.

Arsenal 4 - 1 Portsmouth

As much as I hate to admit it, Arsenal do look like a force to be reckoned with this season. I thought that they would struggle since a lot of players left them this summer, but they seem to have recovered, for now. The reason I say for now is because they have done this the last few seasons, since they won the title at the beginning of the Millenium, and then they slower flitter out and end up 3rd or 4th.

Birmingham 0 - 0 Stoke

Hull 1 - 0 Bolton

Manchester City 1 - 0 Wolverhampton

This is an interesting result because even though it’s a win, City were expected to go places this year with all the money they have spent, but if they can only just pull off a 1-0 win over newly promoted Wolves then I don’t think they will.

Sunderland 2 - 1 Blackburn
